Meet Ellisa
Registered Psychologist
Ellisa is a registered psychologist with Honours qualifications in Pscyhological Science. She has worked for the past four years as both a psychologist and behaviour practitioner, supporting children, teenagers with mental health concerns, and neurodivergent young people, alongside their families.
She has experience working in special school settings as well as community-based practice, which has strengthened her understanding of diverse learning, developmental, and behavioural needs across different environments.
Ellisa takes a calm, compassionate, and neuroaffirming approach, supporting each young person as an individual and ensuring they feel safe, understood, and respected throughout the therapeutic process.
Her work is collaborative and child-centred, supporting both mental health and behaviour while building practical skills that foster confidence, emotional regulation, and growing independence. Sessions are guided by a child-led, play-based approach, with a strong emphasis on connection and therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful and lasting change.
As a mobile practitioner, Ellisa provides support in homes, schools, and community settings, meeting families where they are and making therapy more accessible and comfortable. Her practice is strengths-based, focusing on what is already working and recognising the unique strengths each young person brings.
