There is no “perfect age” to start therapy, and children are never “too young” for support. Therapy for younger children often looks very different to adult therapy, using play, creativity, movement, connection, and parent support to help children feel safe and understood.
At Your Narrative, we focus on building trust and connection first, creating a warm and engaging environment where children can learn, express themselves, and develop skills at their own pace. Sometimes progress looks like big breakthroughs, and sometimes it’s the small everyday changes that matter most.

Your Narrative is a mobile service providing psychology and support services across the Gold Coast (Tweed Heads to Eagleby). We also offer telehealth appointments for clients outside of this area.
At this stage, we do not operate from a physical clinic space, allowing us to provide more flexible and community-based supports beyond the traditional therapy room.

We believe therapy doesn’t have to stay within four walls. At Your Narrative, we focus on genuine connection, real-life supports, and creating safe spaces where people can feel comfortable being themselves, whether that’s in the home, the community, or out in nature. Our supports are personalised, collaborative, and built around each person’s unique story, strengths, and goals.

While Ellisa is a qualified Behaviour Support Practitioner, Your Narrative is not currently an NDIS registered provider and is therefore unable to provide formal NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
We do, however, offer behaviour support through psychology services, including understanding behaviour, building emotional regulation skills, supporting families with practical strategies, and collaborating with schools and other professionals to create meaningful change.

We are currently in the process of finalising our NDIS registration as a growing small business. While we are not yet able to support Agency Managed participants, we do work with Self Managed and Plan Managed participants and continue to follow NDIS guidelines, safeguards, and best practice standards in all of our supports.
